RS 88 TL Tyre cutter

Advantages:
It extends the life of tires by up to one half and thus saves a lot of money on the purchase of new tires.
The pruner is designed for pruning and retreading used tire treads, especially for trucks, racing slicks, etc. Pruning is done with a special hot knife mounted in an ergonomically shaped handle.

The pruner has a high power (up to 680W) and the possibility of precise setting of the knife temperature and thus the ideal cut according to your speed of pruning the tire grooves. The setting is precise thanks to smooth electronic control.

Use:
With the professional RS 88 TL device, we can cut grooves from 2 to 16 mm according to the selected knife in the knife head of the handle. The knife glow switch is switched on automatically by an electronic switch when the knife head is pushed into the tire pattern and is automatically switched off when the pressure is released. Pruning with the RS 88 TL is not strenuous due to the high power, light handle (the power transformer is not in the handle). The knife is connected to the base of the device by a special long-life silicone cable.

Only truck tires that are designed for this purpose and have the inscription REGROOVABLE on the side can be cut.

This device has been tested according to EU standards.
